Everyone’s role is critical to achieving our goals; everyone is mission-aligned, and it’s a great time when we get together for team offsites!

Growth
We’d love to learn more about you. Describe your role on the team.
I joined Method in May 2022 and my role hasn’t stopped evolving since day one. I’ve been fortunate to work across nearly every part of the business - from pre-sales and GTM to post-sales functions like Customer Success and Finance. Lately, I’ve been focused on revenue operations, where I help drive our GTM strategy: figuring out which companies we want to work with, how we reach them across different channels, and how we can best enable our sales team to close efficiently.
As the company has grown, so has the scope of my role. It’s been rewarding to see individuals evolve into full functions and to play a part in building the systems that support that growth.
Describe your journey into this role.
I studied finance in school and kicked off my career in investment banking at Bank of America. After three years there, I made the leap into tech, joining a Series B HealthTech startup where I led strategy and business operations alongside the CFO. It was a great crash course in how startups scale - but I still had the itch to go earlier, to be closer to the zero-to-one.
That’s when I came across Method: a three-person, pre-seed YC startup with a bold mission and a ton of potential. After meeting with Jose and Mit, the conversations clicked immediately and I was instantly bought into the mission!

What attracted you to Method?
From my very first conversations with Jose and Mit, I was struck by the clarity of vision and the momentum behind the product. There was a scrappiness and precision to how the team executed – not just in GTM, but in general across leadership. That kind of pace is rare, and I knew I wanted to be part of it.
What sealed it for me was a whiteboarding session with Jose. It wasn’t just a surface-level talk – we dove deep into how distribution could evolve and how we can build scalable sales motions. It was the kind of conversation that gets you fired up to build!
Beyond that, the culture has been exactly what I hoped for: collaborative, fast-moving, and full of people who genuinely want to win together. That’s what attracted me to Method and what keeps me excited every day!
How does your work impact people's financial lives?
A big part of my role is owning top-of-funnel - helping the right prospects discover Method and understand the value we can unlock together. I focus on identifying companies with strong reach and user bases that could benefit from what we offer. After all, we’re only as impactful as the partners we bring on board.
The rewarding part is seeing the downstream impact Method has on consumer-facing businesses - whether it's a bank, a financial wellness platform, or a benefits provider. The companies that specifically serve groups like immigrants, renters, and the unbanked - those who are often left behind by traditional finance.
And we’ve seen the results: people saving, gaining access to credit they would’ve otherwise been declined for, or even just getting a clearer picture of what they owe.
Describe Method’s culture and an experience that encapsulates it.
Our culture is fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply human. Everyone cares about the mission, the craft, and as corny as it sounds, about each other! Even fully remote, I’ve never felt disconnected. Whether it's hopping into a Slack Huddle or catching up in person during our offsites, there’s a real sense of team.
In general, what really captures it for me is how leadership isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the work alongside you. Titles go out the window (in a good way) when there’s a problem to solve or an idea to explore. This mindset creates a space where the best ideas win and where everyone feels ownership.
What's been one of your proudest moments at Method?
One of my proudest moments was when Mit was scheduled to speak at VentureTech in Dallas but got sick at the last minute, and asked if I could step in. We pulled together a deck on how Method supports credit unions and I presented it to a room of ~200 people. It ended up being an incredible experience - not just for the connections with prospects, customers, and partners, but for the chance to represent Method on that kind of stage.
It felt like a bit of a rite of passage - getting the call to pitch on behalf of a founder. I was proud to step up and tell our story! It was a great reminder of how much trust and ownership we’re given here.
Last question, why should people come and join us?
People should join Method if they want to do meaningful work with a team that genuinely cares. Everyone here is aligned on what we’re building, and every role plays a critical part in getting us there. You feel that sense of ownership every day - and even more so when we’re all together at team offsites!
On the GTM side, it’s especially exciting. We get to work directly with institutions that truly shape borrowers’ financial lives. It’s rare to find a company where you can have both a deep strategic impact and direct influence on people’s financial well-being - but that’s exactly what we get to do here!
If you’re curious, collaborative, and excited to build - you’ll fit right in.
