Describe your role on the team.

I am part of the sales team, collaborating closely with our Enterprise Account Executives. As a solutions consultant, I work with prospects to identify their specific use cases and demonstrate the value that Method brings to their objectives.

In addition to my pre-sales responsibilities, I also engage in post-sales activities, where I collaborate with our customer success team during both onboarding of new customers & use case expansion for existing customers to ensure the maximization of Method’s solutions.

Describe your journey into Solutions Consulting

I've always had a passion for math and science from a young age. I channeled that into college where I pursued a degree in computer science. I found myself captivated by the theoretical aspects of software and rather than the hands-on coding which is what led me to being a solutions consultant. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed partnering with customers and thinking creatively to address their challenges. Delving into their pain points and discovering the most effective solutions is what drives me.

What attracted you to Method?

Fintech has been a passion of mine over the years. If you look at my Spotify Wrapped for 2024, the top 5 podcasts are all Fintech podcasts. When I learned about the disruption Method is creating in the open banking world, I was very curious to learn more. When I was interviewing with Method, it was right around the same time the Dodd-Frank Section 1033 was in conversation to be passed. I actually had my first interview a week before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) meeting and became more excited about how Method was in the perfect position to be one of the leaders to help the US catch up to Europe & Asia in the realm of open banking.

How does your work impact people's financial lives?

I partner with prospects and customers in unlocking the maximum value from Method's solutions, ultimately benefiting the end users significantly. Whether it’s enabling lenders to offer more competitive loan pricing or allowing users to pay bills directly through their personal finance management applications (PFM), the impact of Method's solutions allows consumers to manage their financial landscape.

Describe Method’s culture and an experience that encapsulates it.

I met the team and immediately knew I belonged here. The culture is electric. Everyone is humble, friendly, and super smart. Whether you interact with sales, customer success, engineering, operations, people, etc. there is an insane feeling of camaraderie. It truly feels like we are one team, with one goal in mind. We are all having a lot of fun working towards our North Star.

An example of everyone coming together was when we were doing a request for proposal (RFP) for a prospect. This required a third of the company and everyone was a key piece in getting the RFP to the finish line. We completed this in less than a week and I may share the name of the company in a future post! Seeing how everyone came together to make this happen is a testament to how no task is too small. Everyone is energized to contribute to every win.

Tell me more about the hub that you work in and what do you like about it?

The NYC office is fantastic. We have a very good mix of teams here and lunch time is always a great vibe (Smile To Go is my go to lunch spot). Aside from the people, we also have Bo and Olive, Method’s favorite dogs that come into the office to join our calls and huddles. I’ve built amazing friendships here in NYC.

What's been your favorite memory with the team so far?

That is a tough one for sure because there have been so many great memories. I will say the Sales Kick Off event in Vegas this year was very memorable. I will never forget the energy we had from the absolute heater we ran on the craps table. Spending time with everyone there and getting to know them on a much more personal level was great.

Method is redefining financial connectivity. Why should people come and build with us?

If everything above didn't make you want to join, the last thing I will say is that we are positioned to build something truly extraordinary. We have already signed some of the biggest financial institutions and are on track to sign even bigger ones. A few years from now Method will have a name that is very well known in the Fintech space and you can be a part of this financial connectivity revolution.
